First Post

I’m going to start this blog with an entry I call “The LCC Physical Plant Snapshot of the Day.” Here’s the Snapshot for Monday, December 17, 2007:

A woman calls Physical Plant to complain that she's cold, she wants the heat turned up in her office. Because she has pneumonia. OK. I get it. She’s cold. She has pneumonia. She’s at work. Did I mention she has pneumonia? Hmm. Should we turn up the heat, or call an ambulance?
